High Protein Muesli

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups oat bran
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • ½ cup raisins
  • ½ cup chopped dried apricots
  • ½ cup chopped almonds
  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds

METHOD

  • Mix all together and store in an air tight container.
  • To serve add rice/soy/light milk  or yogurt
  • 1 dessertspoon LSA or flax oil can be added
  • Small serve fresh berries (optional)

* To improve digestability muesli can be soaked overnight in water or apple juice  (bircher style)  and add a pinch of cinnamon
