Smoothies

Smoothies are a great convenient meal to have at breakfast, during snack times at home or while on the go.

Directions
Combine all smoothie ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. To make any smoothie a meal, add 1-2 scoops of protein powder to the recipe. Each smoothie serves 2. Enjoy!

 

APPLE MAPLE SMOOTHIE

2 cups apple sauce
1 cup apple cider
1 cup orange juice
2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 ice cubes


APPLE PIE A-LA-MODE SMOOTHIE

2 cups frozen vanilla yoghurt
3/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1/4 cup apple juice, chilled
1 cup apple, chopped


BAHAMA MAMA SMOOTHIE

1/4 cup tofu
1 1/2 cups V8 Fruit Juice Tropical
1/4 cup plain yoghurt
1/2 banana
Frozen strawberries, pineapples, and mango
Water or soy milk for taste/consistency
1 tbsp wheat germ or 4-5 almonds
4 ice cubes


BANANA CINNAMON SMOOTHIE

1/2 cup plain low-fat yoghurt
1/2 cup skim milk
1 banana
A splash of vanilla
A dash of cinnamon
4 ice cubs
